In Uttar Pradesh, there are only 300 seats for EWS for NEET 2019. So if we have applied for EWS and we have not acquired enough numbers to get in, in those 300 seats. So my question is, will we still be counted in general (UR) or we will be out of admission process for government colleges?
If you have selected EWS as your Category, you can only appear under EWS Category for counselling. You will not be considered under General Category because there are less seats in EWS. General Category has less than 50% seats right now after allotting reservation to most Categories and so it is not possible to consider Reserved Category students in General Category because there are no enough seats in Reserved Category.
