Hello Swarai, with 78.5 percentile your rank would be somewhere around 180000. You have no chance of getting any government colleges like NITs or IIITs because they have a much lower cutoff. You didn't mention your native state otherwise I could have mentioned some colleges that you could apply to. I suggest you apply to home state colleges because you can avail home state quota in that case and you might get a seat in mechanical stream.
