Information regarding NWAC board ( Northwest accreditation commission) is this board valid for future jobs and higher education. Is this board has similar priority to normal board. Should I enroll in this board there would be no future problem and 100% safe as normal board
Hello,
NWAC (Northwest Accreditation Commission) (https://www.seriindia.org/about-nwac.html) is an American board. In India, it is accepted by some schools, colleges, and universities, but not everywhere. Recognition depends on the institution where you apply for higher studies or jobs.
It does not have the same priority as CBSE, ICSE, or State boards in India. For government jobs or competitive exams, Indian boards are always safer.
If you are planning higher studies abroad, NWAC can be useful. But if your goal is only Indian colleges, it may create problems in some places.
So, it is not 100% safe like CBSE or State boards. If you want a tension-free future in India, better to choose a regular Indian board.
Hope it helps !
Hey Aadi:)
The NWAC is a U.S board ,so in India it is treated as a foreign qualification, Which means you'll need AIU(Association of Indian Universities) equivalence certificate for college admissions, government exams and jobs in India. With this certificate, most Universities and Institutions do accept NWAC, though it may involve some extra paper work comparing to CBSE, ICSE or state boards. However,It's a valid option and many students have successfully continued their higher studies through that and it goes same with jobs too.The only difference is that Indian boards offer a smooth path, while NWAC gives you an equally recognized route but with additional step of equivalence.
So,Yes.Once you have the equivalence certificate,NWAC is fully valid in India for bothe higher studies and jobs, and you can continue your future without any hurdles.
All the best!
