You didn't specify which exam are you talking about. It would be more convenient to answer if you restructure your question. But as for now, let me tell you that most of the exams provide some particular amount of time for corrections of mistakes which people commit at the time of filling the application form. They open their portal for this. You must keep a check for this, and edit your thumb impression at that time. If this doesn't happen, then your form will be rejected for the year.
