Intake seats for Ecet students?

For ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test) students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana:

ECET students are admitted directly into the second year of B.Tech through lateral entry.

Intake for ECET students is usually 10% over and above the sanctioned intake of first-year engineering courses.

These are known as supernumerary seats.

This 10% intake applies to university colleges and private unaided engineering colleges.

Out of the total lateral entry seats, 85% are usually reserved for local candidates, and 15% are open to all.
