Yes , 1 year internship is mandatory. The requirements to appear for NEET MDS is given below:-

Candidates need to hold BDS degree from a recognised institute to fulfil NEET MDS eligibility criteria 2020.

Provisional/permanent registration with State Dental Council or DCI by March 31, 2020.

Completion of one year compulsory rotatory internship by March 31 of the academic year that a candidate is seeking admission is mandatory i.e. by 31st March 2020.
