Your 10th and 12th marks are a lot more important than CAT score in some IIMs. Yes, they are a lot important thing is both getting a call and converting a call.
Most of the IIMs give 10 points to 10th 10 to 12th and around 20-30 to your CAT score. You can understand from this that how much important it is to have a good academic record. The ideal scenario is 90+ in both 10th and 12th.
