In order to appear for NEET, candidates need to fulfill the following criteria-
Attained 17 years age by 31st December of the appearing year.
Passed or appearing 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects, those having Biology as an additional subject too also eligible to apply.
PCB aggregate against each category as follows should be attained;
- UR - 50%,
- OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
- PWD - 45%
As you said, you belong to OBC, you need at attain at least 40% aggregate in Physics, Chemisty and Biology(theory plus practical).
Dear Student,
The eligibility marks for applying in this entrance examination is 40% for the OBC candidates. You have 42% so there will not be any problem to apply in that examination. The class 12th marks does not have any impact in the merit list of the medical colleges. NEET Score is the only way to make a rank for getting seat in MBBS .
