Is 85% and 15% quota system also for private colleges or it is only for goverment colleges?
Dear Student,
-
The answer to your query is yes that 85% seats are reserved/given on the basis of State Quota and 15% seats are reserved/given on the basis All India Quota.
- As the colleges of each state prioritize their students first and the other all India students later respectively according to the regional growth.
-
But you do not need to worry about anything whether your merit is high you can get admission in either of the quotas mentioned above.
-
Also in states which do not allow the choice of SQ (State Quota), they undergo the merit list and domicile system and give the admission to the students on the basis of their NEET Score and Merit list Rank according to the AIQ (All India Quota).
-
These mentioned points apply to both the Government medical colleges as well as the Private Medical Colleges as they also perceive the same perspective as mentioned above and therefore it is better to fill the choices of the colleges available in your state or region first and then other colleges available in other states.
- Thus now you can understand that why the competition is so hard in this field and why the students can sometimes not get seats after scoring a relatively good score in NEET as well as in the merit list and there are other conditions as well which are to be met in order to get the admission in your desired college.
-
If you have any confusion, doubt, issue, question, query about NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER, COLLEGES, Choice Filling, Admission and Verification process, Doctors, Hospitals, etc; you just need to ask a question as a separate query.
I Consider your confusion has been cleared.
ALL THE BEST!!
