Is adhar card is mandatory for Assam.

Question

But in Assam adhar hasnt been provided yet . once I read that for students of Assam ,maghalaya & khasmir adhar is not mendetory.

Hi Aditya,

The options for valid identity proof required for the NEET UG examination icludes one among the following Driving Licence or PAN card or Voter ID or Adhaar card. You could opt for any of these options. Having an adhaar card is not mandatory for students hailing form Assam. You are, however, required to have one valid identity proof for application and counselling purposes. For future reference though, you should apply for Adhaar card as it would be eventually required for various purposes.

Hello Aditya, As per your query i would like to tell you,Adhar card is not mandatory for Assam students.
Aspirants of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya need to fill the passport number, bank account number, ration card number or any other valid Government Identity Number.
