AI is artificial intelligence, which is a field of study that focuses on simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. AI is a sub-stream of computer science engineering. It is more of an advance specialization you take up at a research level after bachelors in engineering. Computer science is the highest field on demand which provides plenty of opportunities . ECE on the other hand is communication and electronics engineering. This field studies electronic communication domain and deals mainly with electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data etc. This field provides you with many opportunities to work in PSUs like Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). ECE is good for government sector jobs and CSE is best for private sector. Overal both fields are equally good in terms of job prospects. To choose now, depends on your interest and career goals.
