Dear aspirant !!
Hope you are doing well ! It doesn't come from any board particularly. But if you study your board material thoroughly then definitely you can crack this exam . After cracking this exam you can earn upto 90 percent scholarship. This is a test which is conducted every year . And yes if you study ssc board material you can easily gain good marks in this exam .
Hope it will be helpful!

Hello Soham,
For the Allen Scholarship Admission Test (ASAT), the syllabus typically includes topics from mathematics and science based on your current class level. For a student in Class 10, the syllabus aligns closely with the Class 9 and 10 curriculum of major boards, including SSC, CBSE, and ICSE. It is designed to test foundational concepts rather than focusing on one specific board.
Key topics usually include:
-
Mathematics: Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and other key Class 9-10 topics.
- Science: Physics (motion, work, energy), chemistry (atoms, molecules), and biology (life processes, genetics).
You can confirm the detailed syllabus from Allen's official website or contact their support team for clarity.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
Hello,
The syllabus of the Allen Scholarship Admission Test for students in class 6 to 10 is mainly aligned with the NCERT syllabus. Thus, it majorly covers topics dealt with in the CBSE board curriculum for Mathematics, Science, and Logical Reasoning.
Though the core topics taught would overlap with SSC board students, questions in ASAT are going to test conceptual clarity and the prowess of analytical thinking skills, which are often showcased with CBSE-centric material. As a Class 10 student, NCERT topics need maximum priority along with strong preparation in Math and Science, as these form the backbone of the test.
For the detailed syllabus and preparation, refer the official ASAT syllabus updates of Careers360 or Allen's official website. NCERT books can also be referred to as a better aligning tool for the examination.
