is attendence compulsory in BA Classes

One of the most facinating things about joining college is that, unlike school, you can actually get away with bunking classes. This is how one thinks and wishes before joining any college. But in most colleges if one doesn't have a criteria of 75% attendance then he is not allowed to sit for the examinations. Compulsory attendance has been the most debated topic among college students. In one way attendance also shows its impact on internal marks where  you get 10 marks for the attendance. But you need not attend the classes regularly and get 100% attendance which is not mandatory for any college. But you are supposed to maintain minimum of 75% attendance. It is common for all the college students, no matter engineering or medical. No special provisions exist for BA (Bachelor of Arts) students. At times you can even bunk the classes when you feel it as necessary. Anyhow, attending the classes regularly grabs your attention for the teacher which benefits you in the long run. It is based on college you join. As per rule if you are persuing BA in regular mode then you have to attend the classes regularly as per college attendence criteria.
