If you want to pursue an Hons. in Italian from Delhi University's Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, it is a great opportunities as you may either pursue it further till PhD or even go to a more practical sphere using your knowledge as an interpreter to Italian well-established companies.

However, if you do not pursue it in long term, I would suggest you to pursue your degree from JNU, as it gives you more exposure to foreign Scholarships. Or if you wish to you may also go on with French and German as those are more pragmatic than Italian. The choice is yours.
