No,you can't compare BE with BCA like this..BE course'placement record is far better than BCA.To get good placement you have to do MBA after BCA..BCA+MBA is integrated course which you should do if you are looking for good package.

If you compare BCA with engineering then you can only compare IT and CSE branches of B.E. Actually companies accepting B.E students is way greater than BCA. Most of the companies go for campus placements in engineering colleges and less in BCA colleges.

Salary is almost same but the value of B.E students is considerably higher in starting years of the job.
