is bcvt a best career for above average students?

BCVT - Bachelor's of science in cardiac technology has a good scope. It is a 3 yrs degree course. The job roles that a student get after this course are:

• Cardiovascular Technologist: use a variety of procedures and instruments to diagnose and treat heart disease and vascular problems
• Medical Sonographer: they don't perform invascular diagnosis but perform imaging procedures
• Cardiologist: diagnosis & treats heart and blood vessels issues
• Dialysis Technician: take care of patients & monitor them after surgery
• Etc..

As a fresher, the salary can start from as minimum as 2 lacs pa and can go high to 20 lacs and above as you grow experience.

It has good demand so high prospects.

You can get jobs in: private clinics/ hospital administration/ govt hospitals/ emergency medical services/ research and medical coleges or institues/ etc.
