is board exam maths mark necessary to get admitted to nit ?

Yes it is necessary, you must score atleast 75% aggregates in your 12th class or be in top 20 percentile.

But even you have less than 75 in marks but your aggregates are more than 75 than you are eligible to take admission. But you should also focus on the maths also because it will help you to secure a good rank in jee mains.
