Is both aerospace and astronautical engg are same?
Hello Alfiya,
To get into the aircraft and space industry, Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering are the courses that one must choose during their higher education. Both are four year long courses but with slight differences in the course pedalogy.
Aerospace Engineering teach students about professional designing, building, testing and maintenance of civil aircraft, missiles, space shuttles, rockets, space stations and other such units. Aerospace engineering, being a broad field and also comprises subjects taught under the aeronautical engineering course.
Aeronautical Engineering on the other hand happens to be a field of Aerospace Engineering itself. It is particularly a specialization in the field of the latter. This field of engineering comprises the study of designing and building aircraft such as aeroplanes and helicopters.
Hope this helps you. We wish you the best for your future endeavours!
Regards
No ,both the Aerospace engineering as well as the Aeronautical engineering are completely different. The Aerospace engineering deals with the designing and building aircraft and spacecraft.
Where's the aeronautical engineering deals and focus only on those vehicles that fly within the Earth atmosphere. Aerospace is a very broad field and also consists of subject that are taught under aeronautical engineering. While aeronautical engineering is only a field of Aerospace engineering.
Hope it helps !
