Is computer science's marks consider for fulfilment of group in maharastra board exam for admissions in B.Tech?

yes , the computer marks if you have it in your optional subject is counted for all over percentage calculation.And if you wish to go for engineering degree through btech so the percentage for admission comes out from four subjects  which includes physics ,chemistry ,maths , english and computer science(removing the least scored subject).

English is compulsory subject and so is EVS, physics and chemistry are compulsory for science stream and one can choose between maths and biology or both , and lastly a choice between computer and other languages is there. so, when it comes to evaluation of percentage for btech admission , marks of english are compulsory and if you are getting higher marks in computer science than remaining subjects i.e physics , chemistry and mathematics so the computer science will be given preference and the subject with least marks is removed from evaluation.
