Hello Sagar,
yes, constituent colleges are good for engineering admission. But they differ from the academic activity of the Main campus. every college differs in academic output though they have the same syllabus. because the letters may not be efficient or facilities are insufficient. My advice is to trace the college performance in the annual report and compare it with other constituent colleges and also get past alumni consult of corresponding clg or even mention the college we will help you.
