Is counselling compulsory if you want distance MBA? Or we can directly apply online for the college?

There is two ways to get admission in college

1) going through the counseling there is a chance of getting free seat only you need to pay college fee and you may also get fee reimbursement depending on your caste

2) you have to buy your seat in you are interested college you have to contact them directly through the management .if you what to go through this process then no need to attend counselling

And if you what to do distance mba then after your couselling talk with the management and take permission to do distance mba

It's better if you go through the counselling and get admission so that you can save your money

The norms of different institutes vary. Most of the institutes do not have an entrance test for Distance Learning Admissions. However, some of the institutes do conduct an entrance test for their admission process, such as: IGNOU, IMT-CDL so they perfprm counselling process on the basis of entrance exam; for some other colleges/ universities they form merit list on the basis of gradiation marks so you will be required to clear that merit lis; for some colleges you only need to make basic minimum eligibilty qualify.

For Distance MBA counselling is not required and the admission procedure is quite simple.It ios not as complex as full time MBA programmes involving GD,PI,and WAT rounds.Candidates can take direct admission for distance MBA.And being online there is no interaction between the students and the faculty.Full time MBA and distance MBA have their own perks.
