Is cracking a Olympiads necessary for abroad Universities?

No, olympiads are not necessary or a mandatory criteria to get admission in abroad universities. But it sure would be an added advantage for you both personally and academically.When you apply for top universities outside India, if you have good olympiad records or scores then your application may get noticed easily. This is because of the standard of this exam and the kind of development it can give a student. If you have cracked olympiads it means you have mastered the particular subject. Also it shows your high academic capabilities and the quality of education you have received . It also shows your competance level and the global exposure you would have got during the competition . Most importantly there would be no need for the universities to test your communication skills and personality because its understood that the preparation can sharpen one's english , hence in general you would be rated high with a good olympiads history.
However, it is totally fine of you do not have the same too and it will not affect admission possibilities negatively at all.
