Is defense personnel only for navy and air forces?

I would like to tell that there are few other forces than the ones you have mentioned. And the one serving in these defence forces are the defence personnel.

The defence forces (Indian Armed Force) are the primary force responsible for the security of the country.

These defence forces come under the authority of the Ministry of Defense.

The main defence forces in India are as following -

• Indian Army

• Indian Air Force

• Indian Navy

• Indian Coast Guard

There are other forces too that help in assisting these forces for security and tackling the security threats such as CAPF or Central Armed Police Force.
