Is dictionary aloud in clat exam

This question seems very illogical. You must know that dictionary is not allowed in any entrance. I will give you some exam preparation tips for english if you are weak in that section. CLAT english section can be split into six heads. Reading passages, Meanings of idioms in sentences, Synonyms. Meaning of foreign language words,Spell check,Fill in the blanks (grammar test),Rearrange sentences / para-jumbles. Split the English preparation into three broad zones at the outset. The rubric should be there in your mind.

Comprehension
Grammar

You should consult a decent book on Objective English on a daily basis. Though you should opt for something like English is easy by Chetanand Singh or by RS Aggarwal. If you can get hold of something better than these listed options, feel free to opt for it.
