Is doing b. tech (specialisation) courses worth?
Hello,
Yes surely. B.T ech is the best course of you want to pursue. There are just some small ifs and buts attached to it that's it.
Depends if you are going for Computer Science and Info Tech. You can have a job in IT sector and probably shift to Bengaluru or somewhere in South. If you are lucky enough. You will get a job in MNC with approx 3–4 lacs package.
If you are into any other branch like EEE, EC, Mech, Civil, Chemical. You will end up learning IT courses and end up in IT sector (if you are lucky enough and good with coding.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Hello student,
I would like to simply state that the worth of something depends upon you itself. However, I would suggest that you do not adopt for specialization courses in B.TECH. This is because it narrows down you scope of career in the future like a CSE Data Science would not be able to pursue AI,ML if he wants to later in life whereas a CSE student can pursue any specialization that he or she finds appropriate for himself later in Masters. This is one of the major disadvantages of BTECH specialization. However, if you are a specialised BTECH and you have interest in it rather earlier, then it gives you an edge in the industry and helps you in placements.
So, these are the 2 sides of the coin called BTECH specialisations.
I hope this helps, All the Best!
