Is ece or mechanical is better to opt

Both are good fields for a career. ECE is concerned with with the investigation and study of design, installation, manufacture, and operation of electronic tools a, d equipment, telecommunication systems, systems and machinery, radio, computers, and TVs used in the computer industry, hospitals, entertainment media, defence forces and in numerous other areas.
Mechanical is concerned with the working mechanisms of heavy tools and machineries. The branch applies principles of engineering, physics and material science for the design, analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. The course covers technical areas like distribution of electricity through generators, transformers, transmission lines, lighting and wiring in buildings.
Mechanical graduates have to work hard for building up a good career in India as compared to ECE.

First decision of opting any branch should be based totally on your choice about what your like. Afterwards we can compare different branches. Here electronics and mechanical both are hardware branches. Electronics deals with circuit hardware and a bit of coding stuff about them, mostly electronics deals with signals and related stuff. Here mechanical deals with other hardware stuffs, and not much coding.
