All the best!
Lucknow University is one of the reputed Colleges in india.you will get good faculties and education environment.
The classes are well equipped.
But LU has started it's engineering course in 2017. And the maintenance is still going on.
But you will get a good education system and greenery all around.
Labs and library are also there.
Plus it is a government College which is a plus point

Okay,
Let me tell you few things regarding LU:-
LU is prestigious university, not only in Uttar Pradesh but in India as well.
But this university always remains in news because of thier students/department etc.
Well built university, good infrastructure, greenery all aroud. Awesome location(for bsc/msc and other courses but not for btech)
Everything's good, but let me tell you the real scenario.
LU have two campuses, one for btech and second for other courses.
Btech batch started from 2017. Only classes are running but labs/hostels/mess etc are not functional in a proper way(you know what i want to say). Construction work is still in progress. So don't expect IIT/NIT/IIIT type of environment. All the students are from UP and therefore there is no diversity at all!!
Dirty uneven ground on which you don't want to play anything.
Admissions are taken from AKTU(uptu). So now you can imagine how the placement might be in future.
CONCLUSION:-
The only good thing about this college is that it is a state government college.
So if you don't get admission in any college via JEE/BITS etc. or in any other good private college, then only take admission in it.
If you just passed 12th, then take a drop and go for JEE (A).
But ultimately, it's upto you.
