Is EWS activation inside the jee application form. If so, then I have made correction only in my phone no. without ews. What can i now do..?

NTA has issued a notice declaring applicability of the 10% Economically Weaker Section reservation in JEE Main 2019. To implement this, NTA will need to know about the eligible candidates belonging to EWS category. Hence, they are advised to mark themselves as such in the application form

To correction in your JEE Main application form ,you have to follow these steps, shown below

Step 1: Visit NTA/ JEE Main Official Website.

Step 2: Click ‘ Application Form Particulars Correction’ tab.

Step 3: Enter Application Number, Password and Security Pin to access application form for correction.

Step 4: the new window will be open.

There is two option will be appeared

First one is Manage Application Form Submission.

Second one is Manage Form Particulars Correction.

Step 5: Click on Manage Form Particulars Correction and then the new window will appear.

Step 6: Read the above-mentioned instructions and go ahead to make JEE Main Form Correction.

Step 7: Edit the information that needs correction except for the mode of exam from Online to Offline.

Step 8: Submit the application form. Pay the additional fee (if required).

Dear Tushar, EWS reservation has been added in the Category section so as to help those students whose family annual income is lesser than 8 lakhs per annum. Corrections in application forms are allowed only once. So if you have utilised the opportunity once, now you cannot use the correction window again.
