Yes, fees reimbursement from government is applicable to the deemed universities. University Grants Commission(UGC) had passed a notification in 2018 regarding refund of fees and Non-retention of Original Certificates, being empowered under section 12(d) and 12(j) of the UGC Act,1965.

Students will get their fees refunded in dependence with the point of time they issue their notice of withdrawal. The refund also includes the caution money and security deposits. The refund must be processed within 15 days when withdrawal application has been received, else the applicant can also approach to the Consumer court .
