Is GK marks affects the xat percentile?

Dear Anjali, T he number of questions in GK section is not fixed, it generally ranges from 25–30 questions, making up for about 20–30% of the marks. And there are no sectional time limits in XAT, it is upto you to choose your strengths wisely. T he format of the GK in XAT is a mixture of Static and Current Affairs. The good part is that Static GK makes up for the bulk of the GK marks (anywhere between 60–90%), while the Current Affairs part is very much a minority (20–40%). The topics that widely feature in this section are Geography, History, Science and Technology, Economics, Treaties and Organisations, Sports, International Policies, Business Trivias and so on. And as the syllabus is quite varied, and an attempt of 12–16 questions with an accuracy of 10 around would be a good score.
