Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, T Begur does have great Hostel Accomodation for both Boys and Girls. It has Libraries, Multi Gym, Wi-Fi Enabled Hostels, Indoor Sports, ATMs and other Advanced Communication Facilities. It is mandatory for First Year students to join the hostel and their Mess facilities. If incase of any exceptions, they can get the Prinicpal's permission for not continuing in the Hostel. Otherwise, it is not mandatory for all the students to take in Hostel Accomodation. Only when you are in need like far off from your house or other State, then you can very well opt for their Hostels.

Yes, It is compulsory for all students of the first year to stay in the hostels and be part of the mess in the hostel. In special cases, permission may be given by the Principal/Director to remain outside before entering the hostel.
