Is IIFPT THANJAVUR college is a good college to make a good career?

IIFPT THANJAVUR has good infrastructure facilities with good and qualified faculty. But placement records are not good for the college (according to reviews). Students have to find internships on their own, college doesn't provide any such facility. Most of the students opt for higher studies. Placement percentage is less than 30%. Aachi Masala is the top recruiting company of our college. Other companies which visit the campus are Synthite, Tamil Nadu, kwality milk, etc. Selected students are working in food testing labs in those companies. Highest package offered is around 6 Lakhs per annum and lowest is 2.5 lakhs.

If you wish to study b. Tech in food technology and want to opt for higher studies then you should join the college.
