Is IME(India) is ugc approved andvalid for higher education?

If you mean the Institution of Mechanical Engineers then the recognition has been withdrawn by the MHRD. So in essence it is not really valid. check the notification here http://www.imeindia.in/images/IME_AICTE_Recognition.jpg
