No, it is not necessary but yes if you have those then it's good as it might help during placements once you get in.

There are a lot of certificate courses available and you can pursue one as per your interest.
If finance is your interest then you can go for courses like CFA, FRM, FLIP etc
If marketing is your interest then you can go for digital marketing courses like AdWords, Google Digital Garage, Certification courses by SMstudy, Courses by HubSpot etc
If operations is your interest then you can go for Six Sigma etc
Similarly there are lots of other courses available.
