Dear Vinod, CA and Engineering are 2 different fields. They are like Apples and Oranges. But with your Bachelor's degree you can gain a direct entry to CA Intermediate skipping the Foundation Course. What you have studied and what you will study will be 2 different poles. To do CA after Mechanical Engineering is no small thing. Lot of dedication, hard work and will power has to go into this because there are lakhs of CA aspirants who appear for their exams every year and half of them fail in their pursuit. But if you ask if its worthy to study, yes it is. There is a dearth of CAs in India and hence higher demand. If you can crack the exams and become a CA, nothing better than that. What you need to analyse is the field that you want to practise once you complete your course. CAs work im various fields like Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Financial Sector, Taxation, Auditing, etc. So you need to think of the path you want to take once you complete this course.

As you ask that is it will worthy to do CA after mechanical engineering so it's totally up to you .... if you really interested to do.... see you thinking about this.. so it may be possible that you are not happy with your mechanical engineering career aur really want to CA as your career so go through CA.. for that you have to hard work .. and needs determination..
