Is it better to do Ms in America or London?
Hey Aspirant,
From my perspective “MS in US”. Though it depends on you that how much you will do study perfectly!
You know, Courses in the UK are shorter, saving you time and money. If you want to get scholarship and more job opportunities then US is a good option.
UK masters at the top universities are presented as intended to lead into a PhD, while the US non-thesis MS are often considered "professional masters" and are terminal, i.e. they are not intended to lead into a PhD.
But, US employers sometimes said that they value UK university degrees thanks to the tutorial style of learning, the specialization in specific subjects, and the focus on independent study.
One difference that US and UK masters' degree have is that the US degree have a thesis requirement where you spend the second year doing research under a guide in a specific field. In the UK masters' the dissertation is optional and is usually taken as an elective in the last trimester. Another difference in the US and UK masters' is that US masters' ( USM ) is highly research oriented whereas the UK masters' ( UKM ) is highly learning oriented ( even though students do research but that's completely voluntarily and has little to do with the course requirements ) . So obviously it depends on your aim!
Good luck!
Hi there,
Both the nations have some top renowned college like Cambridge, Oxford, Stanford etc. It depends on the course and if you get into the top college as mentioned above them it doesn't matter London or America, these college have similar reputation and career opportunities.
