Hi,
It is not compulsory to give improvement exam in all 5 subjects to appear in JEE Advanced if the main aim is to get the requisite 75% in Class XII. The percentage marks in this situation will be calculated by considering the marks obtained in both exams, whichever is higher, in the respective subjects. However, if you want to get into the top 20 percentile, then you have to appear in all five subjects.
