Is it compulsory to take part in counseling process ? What is the admission process if i don't opt/register for counseling and have 79/150 ?

Dear Prachiti,
Whereever it is prescribed it is necessary for students to take part in this process. If someone doesn't opt/registers for counselling it means he/she isn't interested in taking admission in that particular institute and finally that candidate will not be considered for seat allotment. It doesn't matter whether he/she was topper of the exam or not. Counselling is an integral part of admission process where admission is given on the basis of entrance exams. I hope it helps.

But will there be no offline admissions then ? after this process ?

It depends on the concerned institute and few other parameters. If all the seats available with institute has been there wont be any question of offline admission. Can you tell me which particular institute are you talking about?
