Hello ,

National institute of Technology,Durgapur ,as this campus is fully residential institute.Across 250 acres yes you need to stay in hostel . if you want to get out side of hostel then also you need to pay hostel fee as well as mess fees.

So it is better to stay in hostel in NIT Durgapur.
