is it necessary to appear paper 1 if we stream for b planning?

JEE Main paper 1 is for admission in to B.E/B.Tech and JEE Main Paper 2 B.Planning is for admission in to B,Planning. If you are interested only to pursue B.Planning then you need to only appear for JEE Main Paper 2 B.Planning you need not to appear for JEE Main Paper 1.The total marks for JEE Main Paper 2 B.Planning is 400 marks. There will 100 questions. It consists of 3 sections.

1. Mathematics

2. Aptitude

3. Planning

In Mathematics 25 questions will be asked out of which 20 questions are objective type questions and 5 questions are numerical based questions, the total marks for Mathematics is 100 marks.
