Hello Kartik,
Appearing for the TNEA counselling must be done personally while selecting the college. It would be better, that the student's presence is expected by the Anna University.
However, there are some relaxations are available.
Candidates are provided with an exemption from attending the counselling only when unforeseen and unavoidable reason is there.
They can authorise a letter for not attending the TNEA counselling. And instead of the candidate, their parents can attend the counselling.
