Is it necessary to give jee exam along with Nata, do college gives admission on the basis of jee exam???? ?

It is not mandatory. If engineering and sciences are your primary interest then you should take jee mains. If architecture is your primary interest then you should take nata exam. If you are interested in both and want to go with the one that takes you to great college, then you can take both the exams. It is not mandatory to take one exam if you take another exam.

Through JEE MAINS PAPER 2 you can only apply for a few selected architecture colleges. But through NATA you can target all architecture colleges. JEE PAPER 2 has similar syllabus as that of Paper 1 except the drawing part. For NATA you have to prepare for one year or two.
