To be eligible for BCECE counselling , it is necessary for a candidate to qualify JEE MAINS exam , as the admissions are only made on the basis of JEE MAINS ranks.Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2019 and meet the required eligibility criteria are required to register before July 15. BCECEB used to conduct BCECE for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by state colleges.

You need to know this that from this year onwards admission in all the government as well as private colleges offering engineering courses in Bihar will be done through JEE Main Scores of the candidate. Then after the enrollment candidate will be allowed to fill the preferred choice of college and branch.
The admission will be done for 38 engineering colleges in the state. The total number available seat including all the colleges is nine thousand one hundred twenty seats. There will be 240 seats in each college. This year BCECB has decided to include new colleges in the list and a result enrollment will also be taken in 19 new engineering colleges.
