Yes, in many counselling processes you can initially register with your current marksheet and later show the updated/revised marksheet during document verification.

For JoSAA/CSAB specifically:
• You can usually participate in counselling first
• Updated marks can be shown later during verification/reporting
• But if the revised marks are needed to satisfy the 75% eligibility rule, then the updated result should ideally be reflected before final admission confirmation

For other university/state counsellings, many portals also allow marks correction/update within a specific window.

And yes, in CBSE re-evaluation, marks can increase, decrease, or remain the same after rechecking.
