To score 60+ in physics you need to have gone through all the chapters of physics and you also need to have in depth knowledge. Honestly, it is very difficult to get without mechanics as mechanics holds the major part of the physics and you need to study that.

You should not leave any topics while preparing for an exam like IIT JEE Main. It would be better if you prepare everything instead of leaving something.
