IS IT WORTH DOING MTECH FROM ANY NIT?? Should I give one more shot at GATE??I honestly felt I could hv got 70+ If not for silly mistakes
Hello Harshit,
There are a lot of things that you can do at this moment -
- You can go for whatever NIT you are getting a seat in.
- You can drop a year and completely concentrate on preparation for GATE once more.
- You can take admission in the NIT and meanwhile continue your preparations for GATE for the next year.
But to be on the safer side I would suggest that you go for your M. Tech if it is a good NIT and then simultaneously prepare for the GATE exam.
Preparing for gate during M-tech will also increase your chance of getting placed in some good companies, they ask only the basic questions which won't be difficult if you are preparing for GATE.
Do this unless you are really confident that you can get a better college in the GATE exam next year. Because if you are not confident enough and lose focus midway while preparing then you will be at a loss so it is best to take up the opportunities that are coming along your way.
Hope this helps.
