We can not say exactly that JEE Main syllabus is equal/same as that of NCERT syllabus. However, NCERT syllabus, topics and books are very important for JEE Main preparation. Many basic concepts/topics in both the syllabuses are common and same. But just do not consider NCERT 11th and 12th syllabus as enough for JEE Main preparation.
