Yes the JEE Main Paper 2 and NATA are the difference Entrance Exam for Architecture and Planning Courses

The JEE Main Paper provides admission in the JEE Main Collges like NITs and GFTIs whie NATA provides admission in other Engineering Colleges other than JEE Main Colleges

The JEE Main Paper 2 was held recently in the Pen & Paper mode on 8th April whereas the Results are to be announced on 31st May 2018.

The Exam consists of

Mathematics- 30 Questions

Aptitude- 50 Questions

Drawing Test -2 Questions

The Total Duration of Exams is 3 hrs

JEE Mains Paper 2 & NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture).

JEE Mains Paper 2 - for the admission of candidates in B.Arch and B.Planning courses in NITs & GFTIs.

Paper 2 contains 3 parts: mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test.

Total of 82 questions will be asked which carries 390 marks. Each correct answer will give 4 marks and 2 drawing questions contains total 70 marks and ¼ mark for that question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Duration for the exam will be 3 hours and exam is conducted in online and offline mode.

NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) is conducted by Council of Architecture. It is a national level common Aptitude Test in Architecture which is used for admissions to 5 year BArch Degree Course at all recognized Institutions all over country.

Exam Pattern for NATA:

Mathematics – 20 Question – 40 marks.

Aptitude – 40 Question – 80 marks.

Drawing Test – 2 Questions – 80 marks.

Duration for the exam will be 3 hours and is conducted in Offline Mode.

B.Arch. aspirants should give both tests.
