Hello Nisha. No IIT JAM and NEET are not the same level the reason is quite simple.
NEET is an exam for students after class 12th who want to become doctor. The questions are asked only from the class 11th and 12th syllabus of physics, chemistry and biology. The concepts are not very advanced but a very large number of people appear for NEET and number of seats are limited. Because of this heavy compitition even small mistakes can effect the rank badly which makes NEET very stressful.
IIT jam is an exam for students who have completed or are completing their graduation at the bsc level. The exam is for only one subject such as mathematics, physics, cheistry, biology, economics or geology. The questions are deeper and require strong conceptual understanding. Fewer students appear for JAM but the questions are more analytical and tests how well a student understands the subject rather than how fast they can memorise.
In simple word NEET is difficult mainly because of very high compitition while as IIT JAM is difficult because the questions are more advanced and concept based. Both exams are tough in their own way but they are not of the same level.
