Yes, it is.Im a student of IIT Kharagpur and some ofy Friends have gone for a long term for the JEE preparation and they have successfully cracked IITJEE the next year and they are successful even in their Btech.It is good if you can study well in the year which you take a long term and if you really have not achieved any good college in the first attempt then it is better to take a long term and study well and get an admission in a very good college than just studying in a local private college.Hence it is recommended that going for a long term and studying very well for it is good.Hope this answer helps.Thank You.

Hello Pranay,It all depends on how you study in the long term.If you finally get into some NIT or an IIT then taking long term will not effect much because you have achieved something greater.But if you don't study well in the long term then obviously it will be more problematic for your future.But taking long term and clearly jee advance is really a benefitable thing.And many of my seniors have done long term and studied well and then cracked jee Advance and then got placed in many good companies with packages more than 10 lakh per annum.So it really depends on you.
